Announcing a new meeting for Techies and Beer!

What: First meeting - Introduction & Networking Opportunities

When: Thursday, June 5, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Where: (A location for this meeting hasn't been chosen yet)

Who should come: Welcome to our first Techies and Beer meetup! All techies are welcome - whether you are in IT, Web development, electrical engineering, technical recruiters...etc. The meetup will be from 6 - 8 - Location - maybe Harpoon Brewery.

Why: This meeting will be a casual, getting to know each other meeting. I am coming from San Francisco to meet everyone who has joined this group!

Meeting Description: For the first 100 members of this meetup group, you will automatically receive a free membership to the Techies and beer club. This website will be launching towards the end of the summer.

In October (exact date TBD), I will be coordinating a large networking event which will include guest speakers in various technical fields. (Of course, this will also be a beer tasting event as well).

For those of you who are wine lovers, I will try to incorporate wine tasting as well for October.

The website will provide you with various resources in your area of expertise.

I would love to take this opportunity to get a feel of what your needs are and what type of resources would be helpful in your field.

Also - if you are interested in job opportunities in the San Francisco, San Jose area, please let me know. I will be more than happy to help you. I have several contacts here which include Oracle and Google.
